My daughter loves her Merida Brave Costume so much that she has worn it multiple times already. Unfortunately, it does not fit her anymore so she had to settle for other costumes the past couple of Halloweens. Luckily for her, she has a mother and a grandma who loves to give in to her whims when it comes to costumes!
My family and I are currently renting a 10+ year-old apartment right smack in the middle of an urban jungle. Although it means easy access to work, school and supermarkets, the main challenge that we face on a daily basis is how to eliminate or reduce indoor air pollution especially that my kids and husband have asthma. But not anymore! I am now assured that we breathe cleaner air at home with Lampe Berger.
Before I start talking about outfit inspirations over here, allow me to confess in advance that I’m no fashion mom. As a matter of fact, my office mates tease me about my fashion sense or the lack of it. What can I say, I’m a “whatever’s on top of the drawer” kind of girl because, I’m lazy like that. The idea about denim outfit inspirations for moms came about when I attended the Style Lab with Kryz Uy at SM Seaside City a couple of weeks ago.
If we’re friends on Facebook, I’m pretty sure you’ve seen me post something about my daughter’s crazy hair. I mean, she has this long, beautiful and curly hair that can get CRAZY at times especially in the morning. I know that a lot of moms can relate to what I’m talking about, that’s why I’m sharing these hair care tips for children. They work for adults too!
My husband and I work full-time, he works at night while I work from 2 pm to 11 pm (most of the time). Between that, two school kids and house chores, we run a pretty tight schedule everyday. I prep the kids and take them to school in the morning and he picks them up in the afternoon. He also helps them with their homework as soon as they get home. I’m just thankful that my mom helps us out to make sure the kids have a warm dinner on the table everyday. They are usually fast asleep by the time I get home from work so I just clean up a little before heading to bed. Not long after, my husband wakes up to get ready for work.
I was going back and forth thinking about induction vs gas stove for months before I finally made the decision to switch. I had to make a choice because after years of service, my gas stove has finally arrived its final stage but before going out to get a new one, I wanted to check out what my options were.
I know that most people who are living from paycheck to paycheck are looking for ways how to earn extra money. I am too. I am looking forward to that day when I no longer have to look at the price on the menu before deciding whether I’m hungry or not.
We all want to get out of the rut. To live comfortably without having to worry if this month’s paycheck will be enough before the next one arrives but before you can get out of something, you must survive it first. 😉
