My daughter loves her Merida Brave Costume so much that she has worn it multiple times already. Unfortunately, it does not fit her anymore so she had to settle for other costumes the past couple of Halloweens. Luckily for her, she has a mother and a grandma who loves to give in to her whims when it comes to costumes!
Before I start talking about outfit inspirations over here, allow me to confess in advance that I’m no fashion mom. As a matter of fact, my office mates tease me about my fashion sense or the lack of it. What can I say, I’m a “whatever’s on top of the drawer” kind of girl because, I’m lazy like that. The idea about denim outfit inspirations for moms came about when I attended the Style Lab with Kryz Uy at SM Seaside City a couple of weeks ago.
If we’re friends on Facebook, I’m pretty sure you’ve seen me post something about my daughter’s crazy hair. I mean, she has this long, beautiful and curly hair that can get CRAZY at times especially in the morning. I know that a lot of moms can relate to what I’m talking about, that’s why I’m sharing these hair care tips for children. They work for adults too!
My husband and I work full-time, he works at night while I work from 2 pm to 11 pm (most of the time). Between that, two school kids and house chores, we run a pretty tight schedule everyday. I prep the kids and take them to school in the morning and he picks them up in the afternoon. He also helps them with their homework as soon as they get home. I’m just thankful that my mom helps us out to make sure the kids have a warm dinner on the table everyday. They are usually fast asleep by the time I get home from work so I just clean up a little before heading to bed. Not long after, my husband wakes up to get ready for work.
Expo Mom is finally coming to Cebu! I’ve heard so many good things about Expo Mom from fellow blogger moms in the metro and I have been wanting to attend one for some time now but unfortunately, they are usually held in Metro Manila. But it’s gonna happen in Cebu this year!
Dubbed as a “mompreneur market”, Expo Mom #TeamMom will not only bring in the most modern mommy and baby products and services to the City, it will also be a wellspring of parenting trends, mommy solutions, and inspiring advocacies. I am so excited!
I am a C-Section mom and a proud one at that. I have no qualms about my scar and have no regrets giving birth to both my kids via Cesarean Section.
But let me be honest here, there are days when I wish my c-section scar wasn’t too long! Or bumpy! LOL
I delivered my son via an emergency CS due to Oligohydramnios and had a classical vertical uterine incision. The incision starts at about 2 inches below my navel which was fine with me because it’s not like I had a choice, right? I was knocked out and I’m pretty sure the OB wouldn’t have listened to me if I gave instructions regarding the length of my scar had I been awake. 😉
Summer can be especially hard for working moms.
For me? This is when the guilt goes on overdrive because you want them to have the best summer ever but you have to go to work because there are bills to pay, and people at home do not stop eating just because it’s summer.
At home, I am mommy, household manager, school projects reminder, advocate of regular brushing of teeth and financial adviser to small children.
