The pandemic has definitely reshaped family lifestyles all over the world. With health protocols in place, many of us had to stay home with the kids 24/7. With our family’s health as our number one priority, mothers had to make many adjustments. Instead of our daily routine of taking our kids to school, we had to set up “class room” areas in our houses as schools shifted to online or distance learning.
The isolation has definitely affected everyone but this does not mean we do not look for ways to learn and still have fun within the four corners of our homes.
Since my kids are still on distance learning, I make sure they still have enough physical and mental exercises. I let them go biking or roller blading around the neighborhood. At home, we cannot deny that kids are getting more screen time. I just make sure that the sites that they are visiting are appropriate for their ages. More importantly, they are learning something.
I recently learned about a fun website that is good for kids and moms! They have loads of culinary-related online games. My daughter likes the Bugs Bunny Carrot Chase Game while my favorite is the Fruit Adventure Game. It reminds me of a childhood favorite computer game. I cannot tell if it’s her or me who is enjoying the site more. LOL

There’s cooking and kitchen work, food education games, farming, and many other food-themed games. The games do not have ads, too!

My favorite on the site is the Recipe Ingredient Conversion Calculator. It helps me cook dishes from recipe books and not worry about the ingredient measurements because it has this all-in-one conversion calculator.

Moreover, the site’s blog contains a lot of informative articles which I think are very helpful especially for moms. I just learned I need to brush up on my knife skills!
If you are looking for a safe and fun site for the family, then make sure to bookmark Culinary Schools.
Go visit and let me know what you think!
