Lamoiyan Corporation’s Kilusang Kontra Kuto is now on its 4th Year! Their most recent activation happened in Labangon Bliss Elementary School, Cebu held last . Since I am here in Iligan City, my husband, the ever so supportive Mister V, attended he event on my behalf. I am such a big fan of this campaign because as a mother, I know how hard it can be to have lice infestation, for both the infected and the mother! Ugh.
My daughter, the ever so kind, asked me a month ago if we have extra Licealiz Treatment Shampoo. I was wondering why and asked her if her head feels itchy. She then told me that she has a friend in the classroom who is suffering from lice infestation she would like to give that friend a bottle. If kindness is the most important thing we need to teach our children, then my work here is done.
People, especially children can suffer from being ridiculed for having lice. This can be very hurtful and needs to stop. That is exactly what the Kilusang Kontra Kuto is all about.
Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealiz Head Lice Treatment Shampoo rolls out Kilusang Kontra Kuto Year 4, a yearly nationwide shampoo activity in its commitment to battle head lice infestation or pediculosis and eliminate the social stigma associated with it.
In partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd), Lamoiyan Corporation will visit 30 schools nationwide and targets around 6,000 head lice infested students. Sample sachet products will also be distributed within the surrounding communities through this activity.
Among the cities included in Licealiz Kilusang Kontra Kuto Year 4 in Visayas is Cebu City where they will do educational talks about head lice and free shampooing activity in different schools.
Contrary to popular belief, the persistent ailment does not only affect children or people who do not practice good hygiene. Through this yer’s campaign, Lamoiyan Corporation aims to emphasize that pediculosis can happen to any people regardless of hair length, gender, age, and even social class.
“For the past years, Lamoiyan was able to raise awareness and debunked misconceptions surrounding pediculosis by spreading the correct information. Head lice infestation can occur to anyone and, hopefully, people would start helping affected individuals rather than discriminating because it is a concern that has a solution,” shared Lamoiyan Corporation Marketing Director Ruby Rose Cavestany.
Lamoiyan Corporation’s Licealis Head Lice Treatment Shampoo initiated in 2016 the Kilusang Kontra Kuto, a coalition that has been battling head lice infestation nationwide for a kuto-free Philippines.
Now on its fourth year, Lamoiyan has partnered once again with the industry leaders such as DepEd, Drugstores Association of the Philippines (DSAP) and Mommy Bloggers Philippines to further spread the correct information about pediculosis and widely reach grass roots.
Lamoiyan Corporation is inviting everyone to join their fight against head lice and be part of the Kilusang Kontra Kuto Year 4. To know more about the activities of Kilusang Kontra Kuto, visit www.facebook.com/licealiz
