As you may already know, we recently moved to a new place so I’m still in the process of making the new place a home. Also, if you follow me on Instagram, then you know that my husband, our son, and I have been busy DIY-ing stuff. So far, we’ve made a small table, a TV rack, and a bench. We also did a laundry area make-over which I’m very happy about. When I say we’ve been busy, it really means the men did the hard work while I sat in a corner telling them what I want. Ha!
I love decorating but it takes me some time to finish because I go by “feel.” Everything needs to feel right when it comes to aesthetics and functionality. I’m still moving things around to this day, which my family sometimes complain about because they can’t find things anymore. LOL
It can get pretty easy to go overboard when it comes to decorating and since we live in a tiny place, I have to be careful with each item that I bring in so it doesn’t feel cramped. I’m also trying to maintain a Scandi-boho vibe – I want it neat and clean but at the same time, you will see pleasant surprises of drama and a bit of color here and there. What can I say, I am both. 🙂
I’ve also developed the love for decorating with frames because it is such an easy way to bring life and character to any room. I have a few favorite pieces lying around the living room and they always make me smile. Then Photowall Sweden contacted me to review one of their products and I jumped at the opportunity because I saw the perfect piece of canvas print on their website.
This is the Color Beauty by Explicit Design.

If there’s an art piece out there that was meant for me, this was definitely it.
I was browsing on their website with my husband and when this came on the screen, he said this one screams “jhanis.” I think he is right because when it arrived, both my kids asked if it was an image of me. I just said yes. LOL

This is 70cm x 100cm but the maximum for this print is 110cm x 150cm. Ordering was easy. I placed the order on May 31 and it arrived on June 11 in perfect shape. Totally impressive considering that this came all the way from Sweden! I did an unboxing on TikTok by the way if you wanna see it.

Photowall is a Swedish company that sells wallpapers and prints. They are environmentally friendly and carry a wide range of designs and motifs. They can also ship internationally which is great.
