GlobalArt Cebu celebrated their 4th anniversary with an extra icing on their cake with their recent international recognition – Top 10 Outstanding International Franchisee 2017.
Local franchisee Mrs.Carissa Ko accepted the award Last December 3, 2017 in Sunway Resort, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and according to her, the recognition inspires everyone in Globalart Cebu to continue molding young artists and improve their creative thinking skills. They also aim to share this honor and success to the students and parents for the continued loyalty and support.
To celebrate the prestigious win and to show appreciation to their customers and students, GlobalArt held a Thanksgiving Party last January 27 in Banilad Town Center and my daughter and I were there to celebrate with them.
Mr.Osmund Ko, principal of Globalart Cebu was also just as proud of the award when he gave his speech, “This trophy you see behind me is a testament to the countless hours spent in Teacher training, Center operations streamlining, Student work output improvement, and creating more value for you, our loyal customers. Because without you, we would not have received this recognition.”
It was a day filled with food and activities and my daughter enjoyed the mini-workshop that they prepared for the kids. And I also have to add that she enjoyed the dessert table just as as immensely. 😉
To showcase the creative output of their students, GlobalArt Cebu also had an art exhibit during the event and I was blown away by their work!
Art Classes in Cebu
Global Art Cebu opened last 2014 and since then have been an active enrichment center helping kids learn different art techniques to improve their creativity and art skills.
Using a revolutionary teaching technique that specifically assists each individual’s learning capability, Globalart transforms the way children learn art through its award-winning and internationally recognized programs. Here, children learn, grow and develop in a creative and conducive learning environment. It has such a wide range of programs that will suit children as young as 3 years old to adults. It covers creative drawing, coloring, painting, sketching, crafts, and clay. The painting program itself ranges from painting on a paper, canvas, cloth, and even glass. A student graduates on his own pace from one level to the next.
At Globalart, school is open all throughout the year. It is not just something to take out the boredom when school is off. It is serious business, as it does not only teach your child to be able to draw or paint but also to think creatively and to learn the discipline needed in gaining a new skill. Parents are happy to report that their children, after having taken Globalart programs, showed improvement in their other subjects in school. They also become more open and sociable. This proves what studies have shown about the connection between art skills and academic performance and emotional development.
Globalart Cebu has two branches: Banilad Town Centre and Capitol Square, Escario. Both centers aim to inspire more kids to think creative, to nurture, and to develop their creative thinking skills, which can enrich their lives, now and in their futures.
